I want to book a shoot. What do I do now?
If you would like to set up an appointment with Nisso, you can either call 305.761.7449 or send him an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and he will get back to you with a list times that suit your needs. A deposit is required at the time Nisso books your session.
Why do you need a deposit?
The deposit is a NON REFUNDABLE deposit that is applied towards the balance. The purpose of the deposit is to make sure you are certain you intend to show up and that you are aware of the fact that if you fail to show, Nisso loses a chance to fill your appointment with another client. It is not acceptable to cancel within 48 hours because of a late night, bad hair day, blemishes, auditions or nerves.
When and how can I reschedule / cancel an appointment?
Nisso asks that a minimum of 48 hours notice be given in case you need to reschedule your shoot. If you do need to reschedule, an appointment should be made within 2 weeks in order not to lose your deposit. You can only reschedule 1 time after your original appointment. If you need to cancel the shoot, you lose your deposit.
What about hair and makeup?
Professional hair and makeup are available for an additional fee ranging anywhere from $125.00 - $175.00 depending on the type of shoot. If you are interested in having them at the shoot please let Nisso know at the time of your booking. Although its not required, it is highly recommended.
What kind of lighting do you use for headshots?
All headhots are shot in the studio. Nisso uses natural light combined with strobe/flash studio lighting along with other techniques that ensure the eyes pop.
What do I need to bring?
Generally the idea is to bring a variety of clothing of different colors, necklines, styles and textures. Please make sure that all your clothes are clean and ironed. Once at the studio, Nisso will help you make your final choices before the shoot begins. Remember, these pictures represent YOU and the character you create during the shoot.
Do you retouch the pictures?
Every selected picture will have basic retouching. Since your goal is to represent you at your best, little things such as stray hairs, blemishes, etc will be removed from the picture. Having said that, it is important that your picture looks like you, so the retouching is done to appear as natural as possible.
