Dive Team Part II - Playing with new toys

so as you can see from the post bellow, I shot the Aventura Police Departments Dive Team a few days ago. On my way home from that shoot I had a funny idea came to mind. The look I got from Ofc. Freeman when I told him my idea was almost as priceless as the picture it self. I think his reaction was somewhere along the lines of.. WHAT?? ARE YOU CRAZY?? WHATEVER?? ARE YOU SERIOUS?? After some light begging, we decided to get on the road and take the shot. Here is the end result.

These images were shot with a Nikon D3, 70-200 mm lens. I used a single Q FLASH MODEL T5D-R set on a light stand at max blast.

Later on that day I asked the boys if they would allow me to play with a new toy I just got, the Bogen Magic Arm Kit! This is a great little devise that allows you to put your camera just about anywhere you little heart desires. For this first shot, II attached the magic arm to rear window. I also placed the Q flash inside the vehicle around the center console area, and gelled it with a red gel. I also had a small flash gelled blue that was hand held by Ofc. Freeman. I used a Nikon D3 with a 24-70 mm lens.

This next shot was shot with Ofc. H. Arango at the controls was shot with out flashes, and I also changed the lens to a 16mm fish eye lens.
